Kuta Bali

Kuta Beach is a tourist place situated in the south of Denpasar, Badung regency precisely in the provinces of Bali, Indonesia. This area is a tourist destination abroad, and has become a mainstay in Bali as a tourist attraction since the '70s. Kuta Beach is often referred to as a sunset beach.

Taman Mumbul (Mumbul Park)

From Sangeh Monkey Forest to the southeast with a distance of ± 1 km can be found a fairly large pond named Taman Mumbul (Mumbul Park) with water discharge ± 222 liters / sec and a source of water to irrigate rice fields  and also the source of  water  for surrounding residents.
Taman Mumbul is a sacred place to be used as a procession Melasti ceremony for Sangeh Village. This place has two temple, which is Taman Mumbul Temple located in the north and Ulun Mumbul Temple,located in the south of  the pond.

Sangeh Monkey Forest

Every person who ever been to Bali can certainly never visited and know Sangeh, but did you know Sangeh is a remnant of lowland forest in Bali!

Sangeh located in the village Sangeh Badung with ± 25 km from Denpasar City. The original status of Sangeh is Nature Monument and from the 16th of February 1993 turned into a Nature Park with a total area of 13,969 ha. Located at an altitude of 100-150 Meter above sea level.

Inside the forest There is also a temple called Pura Bukit Sari. Various types of plants found in this region, among others, Nutmeg (Difterocarpus trinervis) with high densities. Apart from the above species there are 54 other types include: Amplas (Tetracera scadens), Pule (Alstonia scholaris), Buni (Antidesma bunius), Yellow Cempaka (Michelia camphaka), Kepohpoh (Buchanania arborescens), etc..

Based on the inventory of 1993 there are 22 kinds of wildlife here. Creatures of the most dominant and form the hallmark of this region is Gray Monkeys (Macaca faciculari). Wildlife other are Alap-alap (Elanus hypoleucu), Eagle (Halioaster Indus), Owl (Typte alba javanica), Terocok (Gouvier ahalis), Weasel (Paradorurus hermaproditus), Wild Cat (Felis bengalensis), Sendanglawe (Ciconia episcepus) etc. .

Morning Prayer in Bali

The sun still rises in heaven far from the Land of the Gods, Bali, Indonesia. At daybreak, the women of Bali by obediently doing the morning ritual that has become a tradition since centuries ago.

offerings and prepare food in the morning, but in the tradition of Bali, offering “ngejot” is something more than that.
